so what are the pre/post bash arrangements?
The West Port or the Black Bitch (now a creamy white) are a 5 min walk away from the Rose club. West Port has comfy couches and a fire - dunno about the BB though.
G is off on the Sunday now, so we are ameniable to folk coming back to ours afterwards - as long as they dont mind drinking in the middle of a building site.
Uncle Don has booked the spare room and there a provisional booking for the airbed, but otherwise anyone else is welcome to crash/stay/pass out on the floor.

Nice work Fiona for organising a toptastic Christmas night out
'...wrote the slightly dodgy estate agent sitting in the corner with a even dodgier pink shirt on...'
Sorry for talking through the comedian's routine!

Nope I think that the comedian should have apologised for talking during his act!! I agree with Tom though - thank you Fiona for organising the night out and for hosting the post Rose club bash (though in hindsight I really dont thank you for plying me with double gins ) I was forcibily removed from the premises at about 4am by Graeme and Don as they were concerned that the reprobrates in the smoking room were trying to re-introduce me to nicotine, but I understand that the party was still going strong till about 5am. I'll apologise now for anything that I said or did (I'm getting some odd flashbacks of conversations held with various folk) and am slightly worried that at least one of the two sober vets will be along shortly to remind me of what I said thanks again Fiona for a good night!

If it's any consolation Sam I suffered today...thought I had gotten away without a hangover yesterday but was obviously still intoxicated...

I went straight to bed once I got home. Woke at about 6 in the evening for something to eat and back in bed for the back of 9. Big thank you to Fiona for the best party I've been to for a while and for the lift home (at least you didn't get stopped by the police). And Sam I don't think you talked any more pish than anybody else. I think we were all at much the same level of senseless wittering. Like you say, the sober people will keep us right for weeks to come no doubt!

I had no idea at the time that you were sober in your feeble efforts to make Roasted Cheese! Repeat after me, "The cheese should cover the bread all the way to the edges and be covered in coarsely ground black pepper!" I suppose it's difficult if you're used to your serving wenches fulfilling all these menial tasks for you. ;D ;D ;D

so there was cheese on toast on Sat night as well? seems theres still gaps in my memory... I got told by someone in Javea on Monday afternoon that there a whole load of photos doing the rounds as well - involving feather boas and santa hats So who's got the incriminating evidence?
