the second would be better for me just now but as i may be kicked oot the freezer into the chill my rota may change so cant give definite yay or nay.
most of the people who have organised stuff in the past couldnt get definite numbers till they had dates set. so just booked something with a " if you cant go theres always next time" that tends to be the best way. BUT THATS ONLY MY OPINION AND DOESNT MEAN ITS CORRECT WAY OF DOING STUFF I DONT MEAN TO BE BOSSY.

trying to book the shanghai shuffle was harder than trying to get tickets for a Robbie Williams concert! After having the phone glued to my ear from 9am to 10 30am (listening to the engaged tone) I finally got through ...only for them to tell me that there are no friday/saturdays left in December so will go away and put my wee thinking cap on again...

Since have been really lazy in doing anything more about Christmas night out thought I should get myself in gear...have called Linlithgow Rose Club who still have Christmas Nights available.
Meal, Comedian and live music from 7 30pm til 1 am (i think...will confirm this...) for £28.50 per person. The 2 possible dates left are Friday 8th December and Saturday 9th December.
Could I have names and peoples' preferred dates as want to book ASAP?
will also e-mail for the folks that don't have access to forum and maybe others could spread the word for those that don't have e-mail.
will also need £15 deposit...for Monday 9th October
Cheers,
Fiona

The 9th would be better for us as well. If we can get a babysitter then we'll both be there. If not, one of us'll go.

Secret Santa's good for me. Why does everyone want money for the 9th October. Argghhh. Hope you are all forthcoming when it comes to Scapa readies! You should book yourself a place Fiona. It's only scary if you dive with Gav and you'd have loads of opportunity to practice all the crappy skills required before he arrives on the Wednesday!.
