Wednesday evening diving was taken to new depths when 4 club members dived a little known quarry in Fife. Three of us did not in fact expect it to be in Fife and rummaged frantically for change to pay the Bridge toll when the Toyota Yaris we were following took an unexpected left off the Queensferry roundabout (indicators an optional extra obviously). After meandering through Inverkeithing housing estates we reached our dive site. Sensibly, we parked our cars in gear behind the Yaris in case the local neds got any ideas of planting new wrecks. Now for the technical DIR stuff. Max depth 5m (Ronnie reaching bravely into the weed). Plenty of random items to inflate (oil drums, cartons, planters etc). A couple of unidentifiable motors even for experts such as ourselves. The best bit though was a fully intact, upright D plate Audi 80. After inspecting the interior and trying unsuccesfully to sit in it with dive kit on, we spent a good ten minutes trying to access the boot, even looking for levers beside the drivers seat. We will return with a crowbar to see if there is a body in the boot. "The Wednesday Night Experience" will be a regular feature from now on, brought to you by Gavin Struthers' somewhat suspicious OS map knowledge, Jock's professional photography and my tedious scrawlings on your otherwise interesting website.

I dont fancy a dive in your bath, even though its of cleopatrean dimensions and filled with yaks milk, all you mp3 wearing divers will probably enjoy it though as you could listen to the noise while feeling for each others slob knobs
And no i'm not a whale porpoise or dolphin, although my unique skills in the water have been said to resemble the dolphins grace and agility.

my slob knob was a bit stiff prior to wearing the mp3 player but now it's slackened off nicely- related events???

cleopatra had asses milk but i thought you were more exclusive than that and used yaks milk from the rare mongolian red spotted yak.
It wasnt a swan it was an undercover P.R.A.T agent, you were warned

So i take it when i dive it and the viz infinitive scenery like(a river runs through it minus brad) metal that hasnt rusted you wont want to join me on an excursion.Actually there is an area of the quarry that hasnt been underwater explored i will get the time table when the trurbines for the hydro intake swith off for you to have scout about .You would trust me with the times wouldnt you

amongst all the specail forces you have trained G, have you trained any agents for S.M.E.G. ? i hear they get in some very sticky situations and have need of your particular skills.
asses milk is better for my complexion and keeps me wrinkle free - takes ages for the staff to get enough for the bath, perhaps you would like to try and milk I disagree!

ok- the thought police edited the suggestion that you may like to milk my ...........donkey-like animal begins with "a" and is three letters long. for some reason it came out as "i disagree" ? i for one am impressed by the intrepid spirit of our very own man in black, on his D.I.R. exploratory missions to darkest Fife. seeking out strange new dive sites, meeting new dive buddies and boldly going where no diver has been before - and splitting his infinitives in the process (sounds painful i know). handy for him that most places he goes - including Oban it would seem - are full of his own special little "cling-on" friends.

Oh cowboy, please don't confuse him. He won't know what an infinitive is! Just leave him basic tasks such as finding a dive site we can dive, not snorkel. ;D ;D ;D
