We've had Jocks thread about the best dive you've ever done, so lets here about your worst one.
Mine was Gairlochead. Couldn't see anything and didn't find the wreck until I banged into it. Poor Greame and Sam had to guide me about that day.

Yep - have to agree that that dive probably rates as one of my worst....absolutley nothing I hasten to add to do with Gillian! Never in any more than 9m but felt much deeper due to the darkness and probably the worst viz that I have ever experienced - swirling mists of silt- very disorientating. At least the viz did get better at about 3m.
I dont think that I have had one single dive which I would categorise as my worst - just bits of dives that are awful, for example:
- Thomas taking his mask off on the Breda then deciding to take his regulator out of mouth as well (scary moment!)
- Horrible sense of impending doom descending the shot line of the Somalia while diving with Ernie earlier this year
- Glen losing all weight pouches when diving on Muck and having to pin him to the sea bed to get them re-attached
- Viz at the wrecks a Garelochhead. The wrecks are eerie enough, without being able to see them properly!!

Mine also has to be Garelochhead - twice!. The first time the viz was crap and I lost a lead block. It was also Don Lees last dive. He had a heart attack the following day. The second time was with Graeme and both of us lost sight of the copper guide wire and went round in circles. Again crap viz. No desire to go back there whatsoever.

After a dive on a wreck called the Dagestahn in 65 meters I sent my bag up from 21mtrs, it jammed on the cord I was using and shot off to the surface without me. Had to do stops at 21, 18, 15, 12, 9 and 6 meters for a total of 50 minutes in mid water with no point of reference. When I came up I was only 10 meters away from my bag and the boat. Mentaly exhausted after a very, very stressful 50 minutes. Not only trying to keep depth correct but wondering if the boat find me in the ocean without a marker.
