Would anyone be interested in visiting St Kilda in 2009 on the Elizabeth G which is owned by Elizabeth G Charters - have a look at their website www.elizabethgcharters.com - has anyone had experience of this Company? They would charge £800 per person which includes everything except for nitrox and beers/soft drinks. The boat holds 12 and is available on the following dates from Oban:- Sat 25th,April - Friday 1st May, 2009. Sat 20th,June - Friday 26th June, 2009. Sat 15th, Aug - Friday 21st Aug, 2009. Sat 29th, Aug - Friday 04th, Sep 2009. I am just testing the water at this stage to see if there would be enough interest in taking the whole boat - perhaps you could put your name against your available dates and we could take it from there? Jo ;D ;D ;D

Is that the place where the people have one leg stronger than the other due to climbing the cliffs? Sorry I'm not being helpful am I?!

That is as helpful as a fart in a spacesuit - or a pee in a wetsuit!!!!
I thought it was the puffins that had one leg shorter than the other - the females the right leg and the males the left! As they hop round the island, they only meet once a year .....

Haggis have one leg longer than the other so they only meet once a year. St Kilda people have bigger feet for clinging onto rocks just like hobbits.
I hope you get the numbers, I grudge the money for a scottish holiday, i dont know of many people who have made the trip and actually got diving because of the weather.
I dont think i can go due to a wedding thats coming up.

There is not enough people interested in a trip to St Kilda to make this feasible - cost and weather is a big factor! Will switch our thoughts to the Red Sea instead - watch this space! Jo
