ok current list is as follows
Boat 1 -definately running (weather dependant) and confirmed for all on the list - once they cough up their deposit.
1.Sam pd £10 2 Graeme pd £10 3 Hugh 4 Martin G - £10pd 5 David Reed 6 Thomas Duff pd £10 7 Paul Wood pd £10 8 Fiona G pd £10 9 Martin K pd £10
Subs / Second Boat if sufficent numbers
1 Fiona McTaggart 2 Tom Gold 3 Gareth 4 Susan Malcolm 5 Gavin
I have phoned the dive operator and they have confirmed that they will send the boat out for a second run if we want - though we need to book fairly soon. It will cost a further £200 for this.
Options 1. Those on the 2nd boat split the £200 between themselves (£40 each!) 2. we book both boats and split the cost equally across all divers. (400/14 = £28). bit steep for 2 rhib dives bearing in mind Peter Gibson charges £10 a dive, but not really that much more than originally planned. 3. Everyone asks around to see if they know anyone else that would be interested in the trip and either do 1 or 2.
The dive operator reckoned that he could probably fill 2/3 places himself - however I would prefer not to do this if possible.
thoughts/ comments? I will not be booking the 2nd run till we get a concencus of opinion.
cheers Sam

I would rather not pay £50 for 2 dives but have no objection to the boat being filled up form any source. It's what we've been used to elsewhere. If everyone else is happy to chip in the extra to keep it a club trip then that's also good.

boat now confirmed for a double run on the Sunday.
Think that this may constitute the biggest Bo'ness Dive trip ever!!
Couple of points.
Money For those who have not paid a deposit of £10, please do so asap. Total cost of the trip is £24 each. Please also note that if you back out of the trip from this date forward, you will now fully liable for the full trip amount - unless of course you can fill the place.
Dive Sites. We can do two dives on the Bass Rock if we want, or one on the Bass Rock and one at Craigleith. Unless anyone strongly objects I am going to suggest that we do the latter - Bass Rock and Craigleith - 2 diff sites.
Timings Are more or less totally up to us as the tide wont impact the dive site. For each run will need to allow a couple of hours, so I would maybe suggest 10am - Wave 1 (will need to be there for 9.15am to help with rib launch though) 12noon - Wave 2 2pm - Wave 1 4pm - Wave 2 (finish by 5/5.30)
Buddy Pairs Some buddy pairs are already set by default, they are as follows Martin Kendall / Neil P Fiona McTaggart / Gareth Sam / Shona / Graeme / Rachel
Other buddy pairs will be set closer the time, depending on wether people have preferences for the timings. If you dont let me know your preference, then you take what you get - please note that I cannot guarantee that you will get your prefered time slot, though I will endeavour to do this for all.
Air Air is available, however parking at North Berwick is pretty poor at the best of time. If you loose your parking place, you might not get it back. So either take 2 cylinders or your twins. Alternaitvely the dive company can hire you a full cylinder for £5.00. If you need a cylinder, let me know asap.
I will email the above details to everyone, however please feel free to pass on to anyone not on the email list.
cheers Sam

If you knew anything at all about princesses you would know that we cannot sleep with peas in our bed as they make us so uncomfortable. I am after all, a delicate little creature. As for pees in the bed, I've never been into that kind of thing but sometimes in the bath. ;D

Didn't you know that princesses can sleep on piles of mattresses and feel a tiny little pea. This of course puts them further away from the toilet and may lead to the other sort of pee. ;D

Do you see how we've managed to steer this away from being a serious diving thread. Lets see if we can do it with the other ones.
