SCOTSAC are re-introducing the once popular Summer Solstice dives.
Solstice this year falls on the weekend of 17th/18th June.
Not sure of the exact plans, however it will be held at Furnace Quarry. The Solstice is purely a social event, so dont expect specific training or presentations. I would expect that there will be BBQs and possibily some sort of an evening event.
There is no charge for attending the Solstice, however contributions will be asked for on the day (all of which will be split between RNLI and DDRC).
Although Graeme and myself will most likely be attending the Solstice events, the rest of the club doesnt have too so if anyone would prefer to dive a different location, then thats fine. It will possibily be a bit like diver soup at the quarry, but it should be a good laugh and will give you the oppertunity to meet up with other SCOTSAC clubs.
Please can you indicate below if you want to come to the Solstice event. (assume for now that this is for the Sunday)
cheers Sam

Sounds good but I may be up a bit later than most as it's Linzi's housewarming on the saturday night. Evening activities are always good. Do people stay over in Inverary or something or is that just my alcoholic tendencies taking over again?

Will there be a maypole and lots of tree-huggers singing about the dawning of the age of aquarius?
