I was looking through some old log books and pictures last week and tried pick my top dives..... I got me to thinking what everyone enjoys (in the water you pervert, put the smut away please). Let's have your all time top dook and your favourite every day dive, just for the science of it all.
All time fav. HMS Hampshire - Orkney
Every day fav. Lochaline pier

All time favorite would probably be SS Doris off the West Coast of Skye - loads of wrasse and congers, plus the wreck was fairly recognisable.
Everyday favourite - either Furnace or Ballahulish - lots of big rocks for critters to hide under

All time favourite has to be the Tabarka in Scapa Flow. Everyday favourites would be Dunbar for amount of sea life and Furnace for depth and darkness. Lochaline Pier's great for the big jump off the end and Kinlochbervie is the least spoilt place with the best viz. I'm not any good at decisions am I?

so many dive sites so little time, all time best dive probably port napier in skye or markgraf in scapa, favorite local site ballihullish or furnace. Get excited when doing pioneer sites you dont know what to expect an adrenalin is going, should try for more this coming year ;D ;D

All time would be Abu Al Hashish in Egypt. I think that was what it was called, not sure. It had loads of rock pillars and a turtle. Over here, anywhere I can see, won't get cold and is close to a nice pub or cafe that I can get warmed up in if I do get cold. I'm easy pleased.

Anemone gullies at st abbs is always good fun, full of life and colourful! Tabarka at scapa is good since it is always swept clean of silt. Will let you know if any dive sites in NZ can match up with scottish ones! :
