I've been charged with organising a trip for October.
After speaking to Sam - I quite fancy a trip to Seahouses and the Farne Isles. We can dive wrecks, play with seals and see wildlife there... good mix for everyone.
Nothing confirmed as yet - just wanted to get some ideas of numbers, etc. I'm looking at a few weekends at the moment but the weekend of 14 / 15th Oct currently looks a go-er.
Please can you give me an idea of if you wanna go and if you fancy making it a weekend (2 days diving) or just a day trip?
I'll start taking deposits / booking if there's enough interest.
1. Martin G - Weekend

count me in, I would think that Graeme would be a probably as well depending on exact dates. The skippers ususally look to fill the boat - which is normally 12 divers
unless you are a die hard wreckie, there isnt many intact wrecks in the farnes area, and those that are fairly intact are pretty deep. The scenic stuff is waaaaaaay better - but happy to go with the flow
1. Martin G - Weekend 2. Sam - weekend (depending on cost) 3. Graeme - weekend (depending on cost and actual dates)

Working again unless the dates for the trip miraculously change. I might make a club trip this year yet.

OK - there looks enough people to make this a go-er! I'm hoping we can make 12 people like we did in Sound of Mull 8 The prices are £30 per day which is for 2 dives with William Shiel www.farne-islands.com/diving/index.htm. & There's also the B&B - which looks like the £30-ish a night - I'm still phoning round places - and attempting to get something similar to where we stayed in Lochaline. The boat naturally needs a deposit so if you could give me a £10 by 30 June to guarantee your spot I would be most grateful.

Right, I want to know all about Lochaline and Stella drinking. It's not something I've ever experienced as I hate lager. However it would appear to have the same effect on Fiona as cider does on me. Will someone please spill the f*****g beans. PS. Fiona, I will be proud of you if you totally disgraced yourself!!!

Can I sign up to this trip now? I don't have a shift rota beyond the end of August so I will do what I want to teach the bastards a lesson. Count me in if there's space for the whole weekend (as long as there's cider).

I need to start collecting for this one on Monday nights - as they're needing a deposit - so bring your cash! I'll say a £20 deposit for now as it's £30 a day per diver on the boat - and I've promised him 12 divers.... so depending on numbers we might have to settle for a day's diving yet. Other problem is getting a place to stay - the B&Bs look fine - but getting 12 in there is next to impossible! Also the bunkhouses are all fully booked But somebody suggested tents - which maybe a bit cold for some in October. Anyway if I start taking deposits - I can look for 2 to 3 B&Bs if there's still enough interest for the weekend.
